Poster Packs: What You Get and How to Hang Them

What Is a Poster Pack?

A poster pack is a single product made of several prints designed as a whole: a diptych (two prints), a trio, or a series of four or five. The size and frame you select apply to every print in the pack, so the set reads as one piece on the wall. A pack costs 20% less than buying the same prints separately.

The Packs in This Collection

• Roman frescoes from Pompeii and Stabiae (2 to 5 prints): Flora and Artemis, the pair our customers buy together most often, then sets of 3, 4 and 5 that add the muse Melpomene, the Flying Maenad and Medea, plus a Flora and Sappho duo. More in our Pompeii frescoes.
• Van Gogh (3 prints): six trios painted between Paris, Arles and Saint-Rémy: The Starry Night, Irises and Almond Blossom; the blossoming orchards of Arles; the olive groves and the wheat fields of Saint-Rémy; Sunflowers, Irises in a Vase and Vase of Roses; and three self-portraits. More in our Van Gogh prints.
• Brutalist architecture (2 to 4 prints): black and white photographs of concrete in nine sets: a duo of curves and a duo of symmetry, trios of landmarks, housing estates, light and shadow, patterns and towers, and two series of four, concrete at night and minimal volumes. More in our brutalist posters.
• Matisse (2 to 4 prints): the four Blue Nudes of 1952 (paper cut-outs whose joins are kept on purpose), The Joy of Life with The Dance I and II and Music, three interiors (Interior at Collioure, Harmony in Red, The Red Studio), three Fauvist portraits including Woman with a Hat, three windows from Collioure to Tahiti, three lagoons from Jazz, and a Moroccan pair: the acanthus landscape and the entrance to the Kasbah. More in our Matisse prints.
• Klimt (2 to 4 prints): The Kiss with Adele Bloch-Bauer I and Hope II from the golden period, Judith I and II, a beech grove and a birch forest, three flowering gardens, three late portraits (Mäda Primavesi, Elisabeth Lederer, Johanna Staude) and four views of Lake Attersee. The two Judith canvases are very narrow, so their prints keep white margins on the sides. More in our Klimt prints.
• Monet (2 to 4 prints): seventeen sets built around his series, where the same subject changes with the light: four views of Waterloo Bridge, three of the Houses of Parliament, four façades of Rouen Cathedral, the haystacks from summer to snow, two sets of water lilies, the Japanese bridge, the Giverny garden and the poplars, then Venice, Bordighera, three portraits of Camille, fruit still lifes, winter scenes, Étretat, the Gare Saint-Lazare and poppies. More in our Monet prints.
• Caravaggio and Vermeer, the lips (2 prints): two close-ups, Judith's tight lips from Judith Beheading Holofernes and the parted lips of the Girl with a Pearl Earring. Baroque drama on one side, Dutch calm on the other. See also our Vermeer prints.
• Goyō Hashiguchi, Woman Combing Her Hair (2 prints): two details of the 1920 shin-hanga print, her face on one sheet, the comb running through her long black hair on the other.
• Watercolour fairies (2 prints): one fairy flies with her wand, the other rests on a flower bud, in soft pastels on white. More in our fairy posters.
• The troupe of animal musicians (3 prints): dressed-up animals playing their instruments, for a nursery or a playroom. Our kids and nursery posters have more for the same room.
• Grand Slam tennis courts (3 prints): Roland Garros, the US Open and the Australian Open, three minimalist courts seen from above in each tournament's colours. More in our sports posters.
• Pixel art landscapes (3 prints): a mountain valley, a rainbow over a waterfall and a sunset over the river, in a world built block by block. More in our pixel world posters.

The Matisse windows and portraits also come in 15 x 20 cm (6 x 8 in) to 60 x 80 cm (24 x 32 in), the Matisse lagoons and the Joy of Life set in 30 x 21 cm (12 x 8 in) to 100 x 70 cm (39 x 28 in), the Matisse interiors in 20 x 15 cm (8 x 6 in) to 80 x 60 cm (32 x 24 in), and four of the Klimt sets are square: 30 x 30 cm (12 x 12 in), 50 x 50 cm (20 x 20 in) or 70 x 70 cm (28 x 28 in). The Monet sets follow the shape of the paintings: square for the water lilies and the Giverny garden, portrait for Rouen Cathedral, the poplars and Camille, landscape for all the others. Frames: black metal, premium white oak or premium natural oak. You only pay for the frames, the framing itself is free: framed prints arrive ready to hang, after a few extra working days of preparation.

How to Hang a Pair or a Series

• A diptych above a sofa or a bed: two prints side by side, 5 to 8 cm (2 to 3 in) apart, the pair spanning about half to two thirds of the furniture's width.
• A series of four or five: the Blue Nudes, the Klimt Attersee views, Monet’s Rouen Cathedral or the Roman frescoes in a row along a hallway or a long sideboard, or as a grid above a console, two over two or three over two. Keep the same gap between every frame.
• Landscape prints in a column: the Van Gogh landscapes and the landscape brutalist photographs look best stacked one above the other, beside a window or on a narrow wall. The brutalist sets of four also make a tight grid of two over two.
• A trio in a child's room: on the wall facing the bed or above a chest of drawers, low enough for a child to look at the animals.
