We’ve always had a soft spot for classic surrealism, where objects seem entirely out of place. Here, we’ve paired fine art with a love of gaming. An old, bulky CRT television sits on a wooden desk, displaying a well-known painted landscape instead of static. We’ve added a pair of modern wireless controllers for good measure. The richly detailed, oil-painted finish lends the whole scene an unexpected sense of gravitas.
Gaming equipment rarely gets the fine-art treatment. That’s what makes this piece a lovely choice for a sitting room or snug, whether you’re in a city flat or a country home. It’s sure to spark conversation when friends pop round. We take care to reproduce every visible brushstroke, so the print has the look of a painting on your wall. A playful way to share your hobby without making too much of it.
