Three blocks rise like steps against a charcoal-grey sky.
The lowest is almost black, while the one above has a subtle ribbed surface. At the top, the final block catches a little light along its edge, beside a row of small windows. Together, they make a stepped outline that feels both understated and monumental, like a modern ziggurat.
This design sits neatly alongside the other abstract works in our brutalist wall art collection. Its focus is on form and silhouette, with little detail to draw your eye away. Choose it when you want a striking shape on the wall without adding visual clutter.
It suits a restful bedroom, a reading nook or a minimalist living room. Dark greys pair particularly well with warm wood, leather and brass, whether in a London flat or a country home. Available in several sizes.
Brutalist architects were fascinated by volume and the way forms stack. Our article explores the origins of this fascination.
