Matisse Blue Nude I–IV Print Set (4 Pieces)

Henri Matisse first made the Blue Nudes by cutting shapes from painted paper, then layering and pasting them together. The joins, shifts in tone and uneven textures you can see are all part of the original works. We’ve kept these details rather than smoothing them away digitally, reproducing each piece as faithfully as we can.

In his later cut-outs, Henri Matisse reduced the human figure to its simplest shapes. This collection brings together all four much-loved Blue Nudes, with cobalt silhouettes in quiet motion against a warm, off-white ground. Their forms seem scissor-cut, with crisp edges and subtly uneven surfaces. The space around each figure sets the pace, making for an engaging arrangement on the wall.

Display them in a neat grid, or spread them along a hallway for a softer rhythm. The ultramarine gives a room an anchor, while the generous margins keep the overall look light. For complementary pieces and pairings, explore our full collection of Matisse prints.
