Square poster, square windows, squares everywhere.
A dense grid of deep concrete frames wraps around the corner of this building. Each window sits inside its own recess, turning the facade into a honeycomb of bright edges and shadowed hollows. At the centre, the corner bends the grid in two, creating a subtle sense of depth.
This is the second square design in our brutalist architecture collection, and it pairs naturally with the banded office tower. Displayed side by side, they make a striking duo.
The repeating pattern feels calming, the contrast is clean, and the square format is easy to position: above a bedside table, on a shelf or as part of a gallery wall. Available in several sizes.
These deep window frames served a purpose beyond decoration. They shaded the interiors and gave the facades their distinctive depth, a feature found in buildings across the UK. Discover how brutalism brought function and form together in our article.
