Sun, column, shadow. Sun, column, shadow. On and on to the end.
A long passage lined with square concrete pillars recedes into the distance. To the right, sunlight filters between them, casting bright rectangles across the floor. The left-hand side remains in shade. Far inside, a handful of doors and frames come into view.
The repeated forms set up a hypnotic rhythm, while the perspective draws you further into the scene. Quiet and thoughtful, it has the feel of a school, museum or civic building on a Sunday afternoon.
Consider it for a hallway, home office or bedroom. Its portrait format emphasises the depth of the scene. Several sizes are available.
