The Window, painted in 1916 in his studio at Issy-les-Moulineaux, is calmer, with a small table, a bouquet of forget-me-nots and green light. Window in Tahiti dates from 1935, years after his voyage to the South Seas: patterned curtains frame a view of the sea and the island’s vegetation. Three windows, three moments of his life, one way of letting the light in.

Set of 3 posters: Open Window, Collioure, The Window (Interior with Forget-Me-Nots), Window in Tahiti

Same size and same frame option for the three prints

Colours and brushwork of the original paintings reproduced in detail

Museum-grade paper

Want to go further? Discover all our Matisse prints and posters.
